ABOUT ME
I have completed my Ph.D. from the Department of Applied Physics, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, India and working in the field of Luminescence Spectroscopy of Inorganic nanomaterials. I have done Post Doctorate in the Department of Physics, University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa for 01 year. Now I am doing my post doctoral research in the Department of Chemical Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taiwan with experience greater than 02 years.
I have interest in material synthesis and spectroscopy investigations of rare earth/transitional metal ions doped nanomaterials, nanocomposites and hybrid materials to achieve colour tunable emission in solid state lighting and white light LEDs and luminescence nanothermometry of upconversion materials. I have also interest in utilizing the effect of ion irradiation for modifying the property of materials and development of new hybrid materials through ion beam mixing, semiconductor doping etc.
